Woods Quay
Woods Quay, is set within one of London’s most famous vistas; the curve of the River Thames at Westminster with panoramic views from the Houses of Parliament to the London Eye, St Pauls to the vibrant Southbank.
Couples can legally marry and celebrate here, within a sheltered, architect-detailed pavilion which is part of this historic riverscape. Choose from three spacious ceremony and dining spaces with roaring fireplaces, open decks, chef’s tasting room and long bars.
Woods Quay’s design is a subtle paradox of wide open views, yet hidden from public gaze; the ideal contemporary location for both a small elopement ceremony or large celebration.
The Cormorant Deck, West Wing Reception and East Wing Tasting Room offer different moods and views which can be combined as a whole or divided to suit the guest experience as you wish. The venue is thoughtfully detailed to reflect its unique location with river pebble terrazzo floors, matt brass, steel and Oak enveloping the decks, set against the deep green, verdigris and granite grey of the Embankment Wall.
With decades of event planning experience from owners Woods’ Silver Fleet, the in-house wedding planners at Woods Quay can organise anything your hearts desire including seasonal menus by our Head Chef or Michelin starred, Ollie Dabbous of Hide, Mayfair.
Enhance your riverside experience with our luxe river taxi, Silver Darling, to speed guests around town and a dramatic departure by the newly married couple; or include our flagship, Silver Sturgeon, to offer further post ceremony celebration space, moored on the 140m quay with the opportunity to take a glorious cruise through London.
