April Venue of the Month: Royal Society Arts House
The Royal Society Arts House is nestled away on John Adam Street, a stone's throw from Charing Cross and Embankment station. The Grade I listed Georgian townhouse is a perfect backdrop for couples looking for a traditional London City venue with a modern influence throughout. With our magnificent marble floors, sweeping staircases, stunning spaces and artwork throughout, you and your guests will not forget the beauty of the House.
The Georgian House dates back to 1754, being the home of sharing ideas that change modern society in everyday life. The House has 11 eleven spaces that can be used, each space has its own distinct charm and history, complemented with high ceilings allowing natural light to flood in. We offer ceremonies in the Benjamin Franklin room featuring the dramatic Troika chandelier that adds a layer of luxury. Alternately, ceremonies and wedding breakfasts can be held in the Great Room beneath the 18th-century painting that surrounds guests and the glass-domed ceiling letting in natural light. Evening entertainment takes place in the Vaults, the exposed brick creates a stylish backdrop from afterparty photos, the space is versatile and can be made to suit any atmosphere with lighting.
