Make it Yours
Once you’ve found your dream location, we’re here to help you design a celebration that’s intrinsically ‘you’. Below we have outlined the many ways you can personalise your ceremony. You can let us know your choices via your ‘ceremony planner’.
Music
You are free to include live or recorded (non-religious) music whilst your guests wait for proceedings to begin, when you sign the marriage schedule and at the start and close of your ceremony - just let us know the instruments being played/the name of which of your guests you have entrusted to control your playlist.
Readings
You are welcome to add (non-religious) readings to your ceremony. This could be an extract from a book, quote or song lyric, or poem written especially for the day – just let us know the names of which of your guests you have entrusted to give the readings.
Acknowledgements
There may be loved ones no longer with us or unable to attend your ceremony that you wish to acknowledge. Perhaps you have a special connection to your ceremony venue or the date is especially meaningful. If so, we’ll be happy to make reference to this – just edit your ceremony wording to reflect this.
Highlights
You are free to really make your ceremony your own by including a paragraph or two about yourselves as a couple, your relationships progression and the highlights so far - just add these details to the suggested place within the ceremony script you have chosen.
Warming of the rings
Why not include the ancient tradition of your wedding rings being passed from guest to guest whilst they make a silent wish for the future you’ll share? This enhancement is included in our Unconventional script but can be incorporated into any script you choose - simply edit your script to include the relevant text.
Sand/Stone ceremony
These memorable ceremony enhancements can be incorporated into any of our scripts and allow you to create a keepsake of the day, forged right there and then during your ceremony. Take a look at our Unconventional script for details of what you’ll need to bring with you on the day.
